The Penderels Trust team are holding regular drop in sessions in the libraries in and around Wakefield to make it easier for you to talk to us in person about your care and support needs and direct payments. You can also drop off any paperwork with us. A leaflet with all the details including dates and times we will be at your local library can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. You don't need to make an appointment, simply pop along, we'd love to see you! All venues are accessible.
A podcast is an audio programme that you can listen to online e.g. on your smartphone, smart speaker or computer. Podcasts can be a way to hear about the experiences of others who have the same interests as you, are experiencing similar situations or just for entertainment. They are good to listen to when you are doing something else. Wakefield Connect to Support have put together a series of podcasts to support people who are caring for others.

Skills for Care are putting on a number of sessions for individual employers and PAs to share good practice, highlight new and innovative ways of working and provide opportunities to support and network with others. These sessions are all virtual on Zoom. Please download the flyer at the bottom of this page. On the flyer, click on the green 'Register now' to let the organisers know you are coming along.
Healthwatch Wakefield and Wakefield Council are looking for more people to be part of their Citizen Panel who work together to improve adult social care services across Wakefield.
