A lady in her 40’s who has physical conditions, which means that she is easily exhausted. She also suffers with anxiety and needs support emotionally. You will be required to therefore support her, but also on occasion, her two children (girl and boy) aged 12 and 10 years old.
This role is for 10 hours per week, across mon-fri, 8am- 10am. The role is paid at £10 per hour. You will be required to support the lady with the children’s morning and breakfast routine which may include doing lunches and getting the children ready for school. You will also support and motivate the lady to get up in the mornings and provide any personal care needs. This may include support with a shower, applying creams and prompts to take medication. You will also support the lady with taking the children to school and on occasion may need to do this on your own. In addition, you will also need to do some light domestic duties to include laundry support, putting laundry away, ironing, providing some top up shopping support as and when required.
This role is for 10 hours per week, across mon-fri, 3pm-5pm. The role is paid at £10 per hour. You will be required to support the lady to pick the children up from school on occasions you may have to do this on your own. You will also need to support to cook an evening meal, and support to tidy the kitchen and wash up afterwards.
This role is for 7.5 hours Tues, wed and Thurs, 12.30-3pm (flexible) and is paid at £10 per hour. You will be required to support the lady to access the community and different activities that she wishes to do. In addition, you will also need to support her to go to appointments. These times can be variable and flexible and must be worked around children being at school.
DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ONLY, you will need to support the lady with her two children, to potentially go out for the day somewhere or get involved in an activity. Some flexibility with the days and times may therefore be required
A cleaner is required to support Mon, Weds and Fri for a total of 3 hours per week, between 10am-11am. This role is paid at £8.50 per hour. You will need to support with all domestic tasks, including washing, washing up, ironing, changing beds and remaking beds, hoovering, dusting, cleaning windows, emptying bins, cleaning the kitchen, bathroom and toilets.
For roles 1-3, you must have an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or have relevant, similar experience in this field.
You must be supportive and understanding; be willing to be flexible, and work from your own initiative.
For roles 1-3 you must also hold a full, clean driving license and have access to your own vehicle. A mileage allowance will be paid.
The household does have two small dogs and two budgies and so you must be ok to work in an environment with pets.
You will be required to work bank holidays and to also cover each other during annual leave periods.
