I am a female who lives at home with my 3 children who are all young adults and attend Higher Education. We require a Support Worker to support with the morning and during the day. You will work alongside another Support Worker on a rota basis and the hours will be divided to suit our needs.
The morning support will start as early as 6am so a willingness to support this early is paramount.
A knowledge of preparing Indian food is required or a willingness to learn this skill.
To provide some personal care but not extensively.
To support preparing the Family for their day and ensure they are ready and organised.
To prepare breakfast and packed lunches.
Food preparation and cooking main meals for later in the day, ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
All domestic cleaning and housework such as dusting, polishing, hoovering, washing, ironing and changing beds.
Ensuring that house is tidy internally and externally as some light garden work is needed.
Some shopping is required and you will be expected to drive up to 10 miles per week.
I require some social support so you must be prepared to support in the community.
Awareness of Autism is preferred but training is also available.
An understanding of the values and principles of providing support within a person’s home is also required.
Good cooking skills are essential.
Must have you own Car and Comprehensive Insurance for business use is required.
You must be willing and maintain a high level of domestic cleaning and be thorough.
You must be willing to follow my instructions on all tasks both personal and domestic.
You must respect my home and possessions as though they are your own.
At timers you will be required to use your car during working hours for appointments and shopping so your car must available during your working hours.

Reliable and trustworthy.
Good sense of humour.
Able to work off own initiative.
Able to follow instructions accurately.
Legally entitled to work in the U.K.
Times required: 6 am to 9 am weekdays and 8 am to 10 am weekends, plus some daytime flexible hours. Hours will vary in school holidays.
Days required: Monday - Sunday, you will not be working 7 days and your days of work are negotiable but some weekend work is required.
