The purpose of this role is to provide 1:1 support for my son, a 14 year old boy who has autism in order to maximise his opportunity for integration & socialisation and to support him during my absence. The position is located in Connah’s Quay but flexibility is required when attending social activities.
To accompany him on social outings & activities. This may include, but is not limited to visits to the cinema, attending the gym or swimming.
To supervise him at all times as he has little awareness of danger.
To provide him with encouragement & support in relation to his interests & hobbies such as drawing, arts and crafts
To ensure a clean and safe environment, giving due regard to Health & Safety at all times.
To encourage self-development & feelings of social inclusion.
Any other duties to be discussed and mutually agreed.

Be punctual and reliable
Flexibility is key to this role to meet my sons needs
Term time – evening and weekends and School holidays
3 hours per week for 52 weeks and to be reviewed at that time
