The post is to support two brothers with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD & Developmental Delay on a one to one basis. One brother can also display behaviours that challenge.
They require support within the home environment and within the community to maintain their safety, independence and increase their social inclusion within their local community.
To work in the family home offering support to two brothers with complex needs on a one to one basis.
To support the family on days out hence promoting social inclusion, and to accompany the family on their annual holiday.
Some personnel care may be needed ensuring privacy and dignity.
To maintain and increase independence of the brothers by working in a proactive and person centred way.
Some food preparation may be required.
To have previous experience caring for young people with a learning disability with additional needs including Autism and ADHD and behaviours that can challenge.

A driver with a full driving license is preferred but not essential.
