To provide social support and inclusion to a 14 year old boy who has Autism living in the Leamington Area. Your role will be to support the individual to access different activities in and outside of his home; this may include playing with game consoles, trampolining and other similar activities whilst avoiding crowed places.
To facilitate and support the individual in decision making, promoting choice, involvement and control.
Ensure the individual’s needs are met through planning and reviewing.
Support the individuals’ participation in social, leisure, educational opportunities with the local community.
Interact and participate with the individuals development of self-help skills, supporting to him to reach his potential for independence.
A willingness to travel to support the delivery of the individuals needs.
To ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
To complete and maintain accurate timesheets/mileage sheets
You have a responsibility as an Employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You must record all details in the accident book.
You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident.
Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to people with Autism and learning disability.

Experience of working in a care/support setting, ideally with individual s with Autism and learning disability.
Car Owner/Driver- business insurance will be required when supporting the individual on activities etc.
Variable. 6 hours every 4 weeks but can be used in blocks of 2, 3 or 6 hours and will be agreed in advance with sufficient notice.
