Could you help champion the views of local people to work for better services? Healthwatch Coventry are recruiting 3 individual local people and 3 representatives from local voluntary, community or faith groups to their Steering Group.
Healthwatch Coventry have an important role working to ensure local people have a voice in how their NHS and Care Servcies are planned and delivered. They are looking for people to help them:
Do you have good communication skills and the ability to be objective and think critically about information? Have you got the commitment to learn and to work with others? This could be for you.
This is a volunteer role. Out of pocket expenses are paid and training provided. The group meets 6 times a year.

Could you be Healthwatch Coventry Chair? Healthwatch Coventry have an important role working to ensure local people have a voice in how their NHS and Care services are delivered and planned. We are recruiting a Chair to:
The Chair will listen and communicate well, uphold their values and be impartial.
This is an unpaid role (with out of pocket expenses). You will be utilising your skills and making a difference to the lives of local patients and carers. Support is provided by the Healthwatch Chief Officer.

If you've got a question about direct payments or simply want to meet other direct payment recipients in Coventry, why not come along to our Peer Support Group Meeting? As well as meeting up with other DP recipients, there will be team members from Penderels Trust and the local authority on hand to answer any queries you may have.
