You will be employed by a parent, to support a young adult who has limited mobility, epilepsy and learning disabilities.
This role is to support a young adult to access the community, to reduce their social isolation.
You will be required to assist with personal care, for example, toileting, washing and dressing.
You will need to administer medication as directed.
You will need to use a PEG feed, to assist with feeding.
Experience in this field or an NVQ in Health and Social care is desirable but not essentially, as full training will be provided.
Experience/training with PEG feeding is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Ideally you will also have knowledge of dealing with epilepsy, but again this is not essential.
You must hold a full, clean driving license and have access to a Vehicle to transport the service user in the community.
Flexibility on the exact days is available and will be discussed at interview. You may be required to work Bank Holidays where necessary.
