The main aim is socialisation, companionship and partaking in various planned social activities.
This is a supportive role that requires motivational, organisational skills and the ability to provide encouragement to a male. .
Provide a high standard of individualised and quality care.
Participating in supporting the individual to make plans and support with daily activities.
Support with weekly shopping trips, going to the gym, walking (with the dog) local planned days (Stratford, Kenilworth), – coffee and companionship.
Provide practical support in daily living and problem solving skills.
Any other task that may be reasonably requested of the post
Be supportive and have a calm manner when faced in dealing with stressful situations.
To be even tempered and have an easy going personality.
Be honest, reliable and trustworthy
Be professional, friendly and have willing disposition.
Ability to empathise
Good communication skills
To have good listening skills and be able to provide non judgemental emotional support.
To possess motivational skills but to also respect the views and wishes of the individual
