I am a 28year old male who suffered a traumatic brain injury resulting in damage to the frontal lobe. I have memory issues, initiation, motivation, epilepsy and vulnerability due to this invisible disability. However, I am kind, friendly and have an outgoing personality.
I live independently with a high level of family involvement.
Activities associated with all daily living. Some evenings, nights out socialising and promoting independence while keeping safe. Accompanying to volunteering (sports based) and appointments. Record and chart keeping, promoting hygiene.
Preferable level 4 in brain injury or qualifications/ experience in brain injury and epilepsy. Must be outgoing, bubbly personality. Experienced in supporting and undertaking rehabilitation programmes. You will liaise with family, friends and advocates to provide a consistent approach to promoting my independence.
Mon to Friday between 8am and 5pm
2 weekends a month – flexible.
