I am a 22-year-old university graduate with a physical disability and wheelchair user. I love attending church, cooking, musicals and travelling the world.
To support me with washing, dressing and breakfast in the mornings.
Supporting me to go out, using the bus and social inclusion will also be required.
You should have a genuine interest in supporting people. You should be able to provide high quality care and support and should possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role.
You should be hardworking, reliable, honest, patient and be committed to the role.
Experience working with vulnerable adults preferred. Flexibility is preferred due to cover for leave and sickness.
I would like a female personal assistant to fit in with a rota, to work opposite weeks to an existing carer.
An interest in food and travel would be an advantage as I love both, especially food fairs.
Post subject to DBS check
Every morning from 8.30am to 10am, social care usually on a Friday from 1pm to 6.30pm.
Some evening/late working hours may be required depending on my weekly plans.
This is for alternate weeks (Mon to Sun, one week on, one week off) to fit in with a rota alongside an existing carer
