Hours per Week: 1.25 hours per day, 7.5 hours per week. Additional hours may be available at a later date when covering annual leave of fellow employees

About the Employer

I am an elderly lady living in her own home, requiring support with all personal care & preparation of food. I require reliable mature individuals to work as a pair to provide double up support.


Summary of Duties

Support with bathing or washing and dressing every morning.

Preparing a simple breakfast.

Prompting with food and drinks.

Prepare sandwich or alternative for a light lunch.

Washing up.

Giving medication.

To report any problems/difficulties to my representative.

To maintain confidentiality.

To ensure my safety at all times.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to my representative.


The Person They Are Looking For

Have patience and compassion.

Understanding the importance of seeking guidance and support when required.

Experience of working in the care sector is desirable but not necessary, as training can be provided.

Good verbal communication skills.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Good listening skills.


The Times Required

Times required: breakfast call between 7:30 am and 8:30 am. Evening call between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm which can be flexible within reason.

Days required: 7 days per week - Sunday to Monday with one agreed day off per week.
