To support a 9 year old girl who has a diagnosis of celebral palsy, epilepsy, chronic lung disease, global development delay, visual and hearing impairments, is on oxygen 24 hours per day and has a suction pump. Fed via gastrostomy
To get her out of bed with the use of a hoist, provide personal care including toileting and showering, to dress her ready for school and support with feeding and social activities.
Ideally you will be kind, caring and responsible with a pro-active attitude to life. You should be hardworking, reliable, trustworthy, honest, patient, flexible, have a good sense of humour and be committed to the role. Understanding of any of these conditions would be preferable although training can be provided. Driving License and own car is essential.
A DBS would be needed for this role.
6.30am – 8.30am Monday to Friday, 3 hours of an evening 3 days per week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 4pm – 7pm, occasionally one of these evenings may be swapped for weekend cover.
Monday to Friday (may involve occasional weekends)
