We are looking for a responsible, assertive and reliable individual to provide support for a 9 year old child who lives with his family in the Connah’s Quay area.
The young man has ADHD and can present some challenging behaviour due to his disability. The successful candidates would be provided with information and training on strategies to use to manage these situations.
The role will involve supporting the young man to access within the local community including going to the local park. The support is double manned so you will work with another personal assistant.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of supporting someone who may display challenging behaviour due to their disability
You will also have previous experience of supporting an individual who has ADHD.
Up to date training in Managing Challenging Behaviour and Break Away Training would be preferred but training can be provided.
An offer of employment will be dependent on reference checks and a DBS (police check).
