To support a 53yr old man who suffered a head injury when he was younger which resulted in hearing loss, Epilepsy and he suffers with dizziness. He also has a learning difficulty. He has a good sense of humour and is a smoker.
To support him with accessing the community and social inclusion, such as playing pool/snooker, going out for meals/pub and to the cinema. Helping me access public transport, increase independence and gain confidence.
A support worker who should be hardworking, reliable, honest, patient and be committed to the role.
Experience of working in a previous support role with an adult would be an advantage.
You must be able to drive and be able to use your own car to take him out
A DBS check will be required for this position.
Times are flexible but normally on Thursday, Friday or Saturday afternoon every week.
