This post is for one/two female carers to join a small team of exisiting PA’s. For the right applicant the employer is happy to consider any hours that a PA is able to work. Your role will be to support disabled woman living in her own home. Your duties will include personal care, laundry, preparing meals etc. You must like animals and be happy to work with them.
There will be some flexibility with the hours and there will be occasions that you may have to cover another member of the team for illness or annual leave.
Support with personal care as required; including support with dressing, showering.
Meal preparation, including cooking.
Maintain a good standard of hygiene.
Domestic support as required including laundry, changing of bed linen.
Assisting me with my mobility and use of wheelchair.
Prompting with medication.
Support to attend medical appointments.
Order/collect prescriptions/medication from GP/Pharmacy.
Complete weekly household Shopping.
Commitment to anti-oppressive and non-discriminatory practice.
Complete and maintain accurate timesheets.
To be flexible with hours worked.
You have a responsibility as an Employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately.
You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident.
Enabling me to carry out any chosen activity, whether inside or outside my home, by carrying out any other requests which I may reasonably make.

Tuesday: 2.25 hours, morning call around 7 AM.
Wednesday to Sunday: 2.25 hours, morning call around 7 AM.
1 hour, lunch time call between 12 - 2 PM.
1.5 hours, tea time call around 5 PM.
1 hour, bedtime call 9 PM.
