Hours per Week: Night Shifts are 10 hours each night.

About the Employer

I am a severely disabled young woman, completely dependent on others for all my needs. I live in the south of Lincoln in the family home. I require personal care 24hours a day 365 days a year.

Summary of Duties

The waking night position requires you to be observant at all times to ensure that action is taken immediately if I require your assistance.

To provide me with personal care support in a dignified, sensitive manner, ensuring health and safety procedures are implemented at all times.  To ensure that a professional standard of care is established and maintained with particular regard to my physical wellbeing. A detailed care plan is in place.

To ensure that all general day to day domestic tasks are carried out as needed.  You may be required to assist with basic food preparation. Also, at times you will be required to accompany me on social/recreational outings and medical appointments.

The Person They Are Looking For

On the night shifts, we are looking for all of the above person specifications required for day staff and most importantly, you must be able to stay awake throughout your shift.

The Times Required

Night shifts are a lone position, with a sleep in carer available to assist when needed (Generally between 10pm to 8am).

Mostly weekends
