Location: Louth, East Rate of Pay: £12.00 per hour

Hours per Week: The position is for up to a total of 15 hours per week. Initially hours may be less, with the intention of working up to these hours, so that the lady can get to know you.

About the Employer

A Personal Assistant is required for a young lady living in Louth who suffers with heightened Anxiety and needs someone to support her with her behaviours during this time.

Summary of Duties

You will be required to support her in her own home and within the community for all practical and social care needs. This will include supporting her to do activities like going go karting, playing table tennis, visiting the pub and any general social activities.

The Person They Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will know how to work in a person centred approach; will be non-judgemental, good at listening and know how to deal with difficult situations. They will also be clam, patient and empathetic and be able to take control of situations to help the lady to feel and stay safe.


Experience in a similar role is an advantage but is not necessary.

You may be required to cover bank holidays and holiday periods for the other carer.


You will be required to have access to your own vehicle and have business use insurance for taking the lady out and about. Mileage and expenses will be paid for.


You must be ok with dogs and willing and able to take the dog in your car when supporting the lady.


A DBS may be required.
