Services in Derbyshire

Penderels Trust works in partnership with Derbyshire County Council to support adults and children who receive a direct payment in the county to get the most out of their care money and to achieve their goals.  Our support includes:

• An information and advice hub which can be accessed via telephone or our website to answer any questions you may have around your direct payment or for document templates and factsheets.  Please visit our Document Centre by clicking on the box on the right hand side of this page.
• Direct payment support on all matters relating to managing your direct payment, including employer role and responsiblities, employment law, paying staff, managing care agencies and keeping records.
• Personal assistant recrutiment.  We will support you to find the right PA for you. We offer our PA Finder in Derbyshire which is an online register of PAs in the county who are looking for work.  You can access PA Finder at any time.  Simply click on the box on the right to register for this free service.  We will also advertise any PA vacancies you have on our website in our PA Jobs section.  We will support with shortlisting, interviewing, DBS checks and reference checks.
• Peer support.

Payroll and Managed Accounts Services

In Derbyshire, if you wish (or need) to use a payroll or managed accounts service, you can choose who provides this service to you.  Derbyshire County Council has produced an information guide and a list of providers for both these services.  This information is available as a download document at the bottom of this page.  Penderels Trust provides both payroll and managed accounts services and we are happy to provide these as part of your direct payment support.  You can, of course, choose another provide for these services; this will not affect how we provide direct payment support to you and we will work with them to make sure your package runs smoothly.
